Cherished Teddies Marks 15 Years

The Cherished Teddies are distinct for having soulful black eyes and charming expressions. Originally, they were designed only by American artist and illustrator Priscilla Hillman. Today, Hillman works with her son Glenn to create every unique figurine. Each Cherished Teddie has its own personality and design meticulously crafted by the mother and son tandem. What’s more, each figurine carries a special name and title.

Love and care as well as strict attention to detail are all involved in every stage of making the Cherished Teddie figurine. The design making starts in the home of the Hillmans. This is followed by the sculpture making to give the design a three dimensional form. The final stage is the painting process by highly skilled artists.

Today, this award winning collection is not only limited to teddy bear figurines. It also includes ornaments, plush and decorative accessories. Each year, new Cherished Teddies are introduced along with a wide range of seasonal and exclusive figurines. These figurines are perfect presents for anniversaries, special occasions or just to simply say you care or you love someone.
