Up to date on your health

I must admit, when I first heard of the whole concept of a colon cleanse I never thought I would do it myself. But a few years have past since then and more and more people are having it done and it has even become sort of a trend. I’m still a bit hesitant of the whole process but I’ve heard of a new product called Bowtrol which is an alternative to the regular treatment and should be much more pleasant. Publichealthforums.com have a forum set up on the topic as well as other current health issues, they are a good place to keep up to date on your health.

What do they know?

How many times have you gone to a movie or watched a TV show based on critic’s review only to discover what you already knew – critics just don’t know what they are talking about. Well, at least not what you like. It’s not to say that the critics writing most movie reviews have poor taste, just not very good…

So why not you be the critic? All you have to do is go to criticsrant.com and let the world know what you think about running movies and tv shows. Join in on the movie discussions and let your voice be heard. The good thing about it is that you can really say your mind – praise or rant.

Best of the Bunch

If you like Mac poker and want to cash in on Online Casino Bonuses, it's a good idea to check out tips and strategies online. If you are serious, check out Fulltilt poker room because is it rated as one of the best three poker rooms for Mac users.

The site rates the poker rooms on alot of criteria which is very logical. For example, they are rated on layout, overall appearance, customer service, private games and real money traffic. If you are expecting to make money while playing, you should look into the reviews before laying any money down. A professional opinion is important because their whole life is filled with poker and they surely make alot of money from their experience. Experienced professionals know the difference between good sites and bad sites, which is very useful if you are a beginner. The players reward system criteria is very important if you are looking to make money playing poker, not just having fun. Bonus codes are also very important before you start playing because you need to know the codes well in order to take advantage of them.

Although most players want to make money, they also want a challenging game. If you play too easy a game and you take money off beginners, there is not much satisfaction. If you win big from a experienced player, there is both money and satisfaction.

A cut above the rest

Mailboxes are the first things you see when you approach a house, but most people spend too little time and money on this detail. Many residential mailboxes are askew or broken, even though the house itself is beautifully tended to and has a beautiful garden.

If you need a mailbox, you can go to the local hardware store and pick up generic mailboxes, but it won't be anything special to set your house apart from the rest. As well, many people don't think to identify the house by the mailbox rather than the house number. Rather than telling your visitors to look for number 7, you can send them to "the beautiful embosses mailbox by the curbside" -- they will surely find your house from that description!

For those who are wanting to be fashionable, you can also coordinate your mailboxes with your houses. If your main color is green, there are green mailboxes with gold trim. Make a great first impression with a solid and classy mailbox. Why would you spend money on interior design when you drive past an old and broken down mailbox everyday as you come home from work? Decide for a whole and integrated look for your house, and don't scrimp on the details.

Virtual Hotels

If you are going to Spain and you are looking for Barcelona hotels, check on-line before you go. There are so many deals and last-minute offers, especially at www.easytobook.com .

Hotels in Barcelona are everywhere, but not all hotels are created equal. There are two-star hotels which are clean and bright, while there are four-star hotels that are rather dirty. When I went there, I had a great room right off the main boulevard and I thought that I found the deal of the century. Little did I know that it was in the centre of transvestite-ville. When darkness fell, the streets around the hotels were milling with interesting characters. All very interesting to see, but rather scary as a woman alone. When I looking too long at a rather beautiful he-woman, she/he threatened me with bodily harm. I ran very quickly.

It is a good idea to take out a map before you book a Barcelona hotel. Choose a hotel close to the sites that you what to see (don't forget to stroll through the markets). In summer the heat is sizzling, so the best time to go is in the fall or the spring. The weather is pleasant without being over-bearing, and if you are planning to walk a lot, you don't want to melt in the heat. During the Barcelona Olympics, the temperature rose to 35 degrees Celsius. I was melting, so I don't know how the competitors handled it. If you don't like to walk great distances, it is a good idea to rent a bicycle.

The rain in Spain falls mostly on the plains

Everybody knows the story of Eliza Doolittle and her rain in Spain. However, how much do you know about Spain itself? It is a fascinating country with lots to see in every corner of the country. Hotels in Spain are easy to find because there are so many tourists now. However, it is best to check out hotels online before you go and book at least one night. When you step off the plane, it is a nice feeling to know that you have a place to lay your head that night. You don't want to be wandering around the streets looking for hotels in Barcelona without having any specific destination in mind. If you book a hotel online, then you can give the taxi driver a specific address and go directly there.

It is advisable to get a map before you go, or at least buy one as you leave the airport. Although Spanish taxi drivers are not known for their nasty ways, it is always better to know the lay of the land before you step into a taxi. If you have a specific address and you know more or less how many kilometers the hotel is away from the airport, you will have a better chance of not getting burned by a nasty taxi driver.

Once you get to your hotel in Barcelona, the best way to get around the city is by bicycle. You can get from one end of the city to the other in about 1 hour, and there is lots to see. Although an organized tour is also good, a good map is also fine. Remember to drink lots of water (bottled water is best) because it can get very hot in Barcelona during the summer months. It is best to travel there when it is not so hot, but winter is not advisable because in winter, the rain falls all over the country, not just on the plains.

Lighting is not just light

It is a fact that you never think about lighting until it doesn't look right. However, if the lighting fixtures and the amount of light is corrent, it provides a wonderful sense of style. Indeed, many people choose fine art lamps in order to give their room style and fashion. Although proper lighting can cost a pretty penny, it is worth it when you see the difference between bad lighting and good lighting.

It is also a good idea to think about natural lighting and energy-efficient lighting options. As well, more homeowners are also demanding “green” design options for their homes. In turn, major homebuilders, as well as the manufactured/pre-fabricated housing industry, have embraced versatile lighting options that can be simply and affordably integrated into home designs.

Not only can you choose to use lighting as art, but you can also tell a story about your life with lighting. If you love the sea, you may want to choose sea gull lighting. If you love the outdoors, you may want to use full-spectrum lighting to give the impression of natural light of the sun. Remember that plants grow well with full-spectrum light, almost as well as with natural light.
