Solutions for Budget Businessing

There’s one thing every business doesn’t want to compromise on and that’s the quality and reliability of their business operations tools. No matter how much money you can save on a cheap point of sale system, it can instantly become not worth it once you suffer from a malfunction that shuts down or disrupts you business for a period of time. Because with businesses, especially retail businesses that live off the ring of the register – time is money. And thus downtime means loss of money!

But that doesn’t mean there are no ways of lowering the costs of expensive point of sale systems that every retail business now utilizes. You may not be able to afford the latest IBM POS equipment but at visionpos.com you can get some great deals on fully refurbished used POS equipment. But don’t think for one minute that the lower price and used equipment means lesser quality or an unreliable system. Vision POS fully refurbishes each system before shipping it and tests each unit out before it is resold. Now that’s smart business.

Toners cost a ton

Several years ago, as I was setting up my own businesss, I decided to purchase a wonderful new 4 in 1 machine for faxing, printing, scanning and copying. Boy, I was so happy with that thing, even though it weighed a ton and took up half my office space. What I didn't realize that toner cartridges would cost so much. Maybe it would have been better if it used inkjet cartridges, I don't know, but each time I went to the supply store, I parted with $100 for both the black cartridge and the color cartridge.

I tried recycled cartridges, but they were not readily available. If they were sold beside the regular cartridges at the store, I definitely would have bought them. I didn't find that I had problems with the recycled cartridges. Some of my friends told me that they blocked up on them or were messy. Not so for me. If I didn't knwo that they were recycled, I would have figured that I bought them new. Except for the price, of course.

I would like to know what toner is made of, and if it is made of the same stuff that is in my pencil. It sure looks like it, and if stains clothing like it too. Maybe the recipe for toner is like some secret recipe for Grandma's apple pie -- only the close relatives know it, and even then, Grandma doesn't tell you one of the main ingredients, so yours is never as good as hers. Toner is like apple pie, except more useful.

Redecorating at home

I’m redecorating at home now and for the first time I found myself actually purchasing most of the furniture for my house online. I used to think that I wouldn’t be able to purchase these types of things online and would have to touch and feel the furniture but I guess I got so used to doing everything else online that it kind of became natural.

Also, websites have come a long way over the past few years and most of them provide great images and information which can really help visualize what you are getting and make a smarter decision. I found most of the items I wanted at overstock.com. Not only did they have some magnificent pieces but I also found them to have the best prices on almost all furniture.

To make things better and get even more bang for my buck from the already low priced deals at overstock.com I also made sure to make my purchases using special overstock.com coupon codes which I found at couponchief.com. They have great coupons for hundreds of websites, be sure to check them out and see how much you can save.

The Real Colloidal Silver

There has been so much buzz regarding colloidal silver lately that it seems everyone is talking about it. It’s funny because colloidal silver is far from new and it has been in use for over a hundred years already. There are reports that people used to use colloidal silver to treat external wounds to prevent infection.

But recently more and more applications and new benefits have been credited to colloidal silver and people are now using colloidal silver as an internal natural supplement. Some have claim that colloidal silver has antibiotic properties.

But there are many products sold today that are not true colloidal silver, a fact which does not prevent merchants from labeling these products as colloidal silver and misleading their customers. If you are looking for true colloidal silver made of pure silver colloids with the highest particle surface area, you should check out purestcolloids.com. They sell a product called MesoSilver which is made of mesocolloids and is one of the only true colloidal silver compounds available today for internal use.

Heavan on Earth

We just got back from our summer vacation to Hawaii last week and I already miss our stay. I could use another month or two at what I can only describe as heaven on earth. I’ve always heard about how great and relaxing it is in Hawaii but never really got around to going there. It’s not that I don’t travel much but just every year when we plan our vacation there’s always some other destination we want to go to.

The one thing I can tell you about my trip to Hawaii that was unlike any other I have taken in years and that is that it was all about relaxing. No rush to see things and “make the most of our tip”, we knew what we were going to do the whole day in advance – basically nothing…. Just take in the sun and relax.

It was especially nice since we booked our trip through hawaiianbeachrentals.com which offers Hawaii beach accommodations in the form of vacation villas and not the typical large hotels we always go to. Our villa was just beautiful and right by the beach. I highly recommend you consider your next vacation to be in Hawaii or one of the surrounding islands. You can find more Hawaii vacation info online at hawaiianbeachrentals.com.

Lowballing Never Paid Off More

Lowballing items never paid off more than it does now. A new game available at bid4prizes.com offers free gifts just for bidding the lowest price on an item. This unique system which sounds kind of strange at first is actually kind of cool once you get the hang of it and it can become quite addictive.

The idea behind this novel sweepstake game is to challenge people to play against each other trying to guess the lowest unique bid an item will receive. Anyone can sign up for free and bid on various items that are “auctioned” off on the site either using the online form or by text messaging with their phones. The goal is to bid the lowest price for the item. But there’s a catch. Any price point that has been bid by more than one person gets disqualified so you have to find the lowest price that nobody else bid on.

It’s not as easy as it sounds but if you do get it right you can win a nice cash prize or one of the great items that are auctioned off including Iphones, designer bags, HDTV’s and more.

Web Hosting Capacities

If you are looking into a web hosting service, there are some specific things that you should consider relating to their capacity and what they can give you. One of the most important things that you need to look into is the disk space. Remember that you are engaging their services so that you can store all your web site’s information on their servers. As such, you have to know whether or not the disk space that they have to offer will be adequate for your needs.

For small or medium web sites, you will need anywhere from 10 and 100 Mb of disk space. Ask your web hosting provider if they can assure of this amount at all times. You may be thinking that HTML pages only take up a small amount of space and that 100 Mb is overshooting the mark. The first part is true enough – HTML pages do not take up much space. However, it is rare these days that web pages are only plain HTML. More often than not, you would have images, sound, and video on the web page. These images may be in the form of banners, buttons, gif, and jpg. If you take a look at the size of the images as a whole, you would see that they do take up a lot of space. In most cases, they actually are bigger than the HTML page itself.

Make sure that you know your needs before taking on a web hosting provider. A good resource for web hosting information is webhostinginformation.net. You can fine some very helpful information there and really learn how to make a smart decision when shopping for a website host as well as learn to make the most out of your current hosing service. Be sure to check out the web host reviews featured on the site, they can have a big impact on your decision when coming to choose a web host for your site.

Saving Online

Any savvy online shopper knows that if you really want to get the best deals on any item you buy you have to compare prices. After all, the internet has revolutionized they way we shop by allowing easy access to any product no matter where the merchant is physically located. But just because a site is online doesn’t mean they are necessarily cheap. In fact, in many cases by simply searching for the product you want (even after locating it on one site) you may find other sites that offer it at a substantial discount. They will both ship to you and there shouldn’t be much of a difference to you where you shop so why not go with the cheapest.

But it is a little known secret that most online stores don’t actually list their lowest price online. In order to get the most savings out of your online purchase you will need to enter a coupon code at the checkout of many sites. But these sites don’t publish the coupon codes for everyone to enjoy. Sometimes certain merchants will publish their coupon codes on other sites as advertisements in order to lure new customers or in other cases they will email their previous customers these codes in order to generate repeat purchases. Their logic is that if you are already on their site, why should they try to give you a bigger discount?

But luckily you don’t have to accept their logic. Simply go to deallocker.com and you can find thousands of free online coupons. Chances are that you will find a coupon valid for the site you wish to purchase at. If you can get the same items at the same store for less – why not? The site is based on user submission so that if anybody finds a coupon they can list it on the site. Why not do your part to? If you are emailed a coupon code from a previous merchant, why not upload it for other to enjoy? I just uploaded some great Target coupons I found – who knows, maybe you’ll be the one to benefit from them.

Ultra Distance Learning

Distance learning is not a new concept and there are many websites now offering students the option of taking private lessons with a personal tutor over the web. But there is one company that has taken the concept of distance learning to the true meaning of the word. When you sign up for Tutor Vista for private lessons, be ready to get a real long distance experience with tutors speaking directly to you from their location in India.

The tutors location can explain the heavily discounted prices the site offers, giving students a chance to get high quality tutoring for a fraction of what it would cost with local teachers.

But don’t think the low prices and foreign teachers mean a lesser quality lesson or unprofessional teachers. So far, satisfaction from the service is overwhelming among students who use it. It’s no wonder since the Indian teachers are in most cases far more educated than local tutors, many of them carrying advanced degrees in sciences and math.

The Road Less Traveled

I’m not new to traveling and try to find new things to do and am always on the lookout for new experiences. That’s why whenever I travel someplace I try to stay away from the mainstream destinations and don’t use any typical travel guides. Instead I like either speaking to local people from where I’m going or speak to previous travelers who know the area and try to gain “inside” information on the destination and find the “road less traveled”.

But I recently discovered a great site which offers just the type of things I usually look for when I travel. The site realtravel.com is based on user submitted content and you can find great things to do and places to go based on other traveler’s past experiences. I find that the people who post on the site tend to offer great insight and don’t typically post the regular mainstream stuff.

The site also offers a great trip planner that allows you to add destinations to your trip and place all the information on an easily accessed page on the internet which you can then print out and take with you.

Used Cars Search

Purchasing a used car can be quite an annoying process with endless running around going from one used car lot to another and following every lead of a possible car for sale in your area that matches your criteria. Obviously you can sometimes get lucky and find the right car very fast and even on your first try but in many cases it takes a long time to find the car you want for sale in your area. But there is a better way of doing things thanks to autoguide.com which lists thousands upon thousands of Used Cars available nationwide.

No matter who is selling the Used Cars you are interested you will be able to find them through autoguide.com’s system. All you have to do is enter the make of the car you are interested in purchasing and have the option of narrowing your search by year, price range, color and even location of the car for sale. You can then get the seller’s information through the system and complete the purchase. If you are not sure whether the asking price is fair you can use the system’s book value feature which automatically calculates the recommended price for that individual car.
