Just Doing Nothing

While many of you probably are now recuperating from your summer traveling, there are still some late goers who wait for the lower September rates to take their vacation. This is actually a much wiser option if you can afford the time since the weather is still great but as much fewer people travel in September you won’t have to suffer the crowds or the prices of August. One of my favorite vacations is booking one of the beautiful Oahu vacation rentals and simply spending a week doing nothing. This is the kind of vacation that doesn’t require another vacation just to recuperate from it.

I love staying at a vacation rental as opposed to a big hotel since I find that vacation rentals offer a much more relaxing atmosphere and really just support what I came for – pure relaxation. But I try not staying at the same place twice and like to discover new and beautiful rentals since each one is unique and offers its own atmosphere. A good place to find vacation rental ideas is at the Hawaii travel blog available at hawaiianbeachrentals.com.

Dyeing Fiber With Kool Aid
Kool-aid is a safe, easy and fun way to dye wool yarn. It requires no specialized equipment, and is safe enough to do with small children. Since it's actually food dye, you can even use your kitchen utensils without fear of contamination.
